 About "Your" Cost Containment Program

The Health Redirectx programs we design are unique to each employer and union with whom we engage. Our consulting program is designed for employers and labor unions that manage their own self-funded health benefits plans for members and employees and their dependents. We work with employers in all 50 states and redirect their plan participants to surgical facilities and surgeons nationwide who are receptive to bundled priced surgery and cost containment programming. 

Your program will be uniquely tailored to your plan participants' needs and customized to offers services from anywhere your plan participants choose from your custom-tailored short list of partner providers. 

To begin, you'll work with our experts to decide:

• what to include
• how much you'll pay per procedure
• which providers and destinations
• the method(s) by which plan participants gain access and support, and 
• incentives and rewards for plan participants to drive utilization and cost savings for them and the company.

We’ve aligned the benefits of our services to meet your needs in four key areas: 

1. Claims cost savings
2. Confidential (HIPAA compliant) assistance for plan participants
3. Case management and logistical coordination for health travel, and 
4. Savings analysis and reporting. 

Additionally, we can accept a case on the fly if you just want to give it a try. We have a vast network of providers, pre-inspected, and we have their bundled case rates on file. So even if you haven't decided on a preferred short-list of providers, we can help your plan participant immediately with any surgery procedure needed. We'll get the paperwork done so that creditworthiness and payment arrangements are a breeze. 

We facilitate the relationship with the provider. 

We do not contract with them on your behalf. The key to our success has been in the direct relationships between employers and providers. 

We believe you should have a choice.  We avoid the awkwardness and costs associated with intermediary "layered" costs you see in PPO, TPA, EPO, and ASO arrangements. With our model, you have privity of contract directly with the provider. We can offer you fee-based facilitator services such as:

• Provider Relations
• Case Management
• Provider Claims Settlement
• Periodic Savings Reporting

Alternatively, you can have your current TPA manage these expenses for you, but we've discovered that our hourly rates tend to be lower than most TPAs for the same services. With privity of contract, you decide if and when a provider remains in "your" bespoke arrangement. You also get to decide to terminate use of a particular provider for cause or to simply stop referring redirected cases to them. We execute on your orders.
